Mission to Mars (2000) — Enhanced Citations
Paradigm Threat AU-062.
Feature media is not cataloguedfor streaming yet.Project files are still listed below when present.
Notes
Not a picture cut. Theatrical film stays intact. Work is a second English subtitle track.
Why this cut
The theatrical dialogue never says “asteroid” or “wrecked.” The crew says “It’s Mars.” / “That’s where they went.” / “One stayed behind. Earth, before the continents separated.” / “They seeded Earth.” / “They’re us. We’re them.” Enhanced citations surface the AU-062 reading of that hologram — without touching the picture.
What changed
- Second English track: dialogue plus AU-062 cards in gaps; credits conversation
- Default track stays theatrical dialogue only
- Hologram cards cover the water-world / continents / seed-mask reading of the face reveal
- Credits cards place the film in the late-90s / early-2000s window (ID4 → Fifth Element → Lebowski → Mummy → this film → Mars RV stamp)
Subtitles
Your player may offer two English tracks:
- English — dialogue only (default)
- English (citations) — dialogue plus short on-screen notes
